Lovers and friends is a sincere shot by Lwando Dlamini of an intimate moment as two figures are painted embracing each other, almost morphing into one. The painting is vibrant and warm and reflects life.
About the artist
Lwando Dlamini was born in the Eastern Cape but moved to the Western Cape as a young child. He currently lives and works between Cape Town and Johannesburg. He graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from the Ruth Prowse School of Art and was awarded the 2018 David Koloane award.
