Donachcha is a painting of Lwando Dlamini’s friend Dona. She represents for him the beauty of a friendship that has grown quickly and strongly.
About the artist
Lwando Dlamini was born in the Eastern Cape but moved to the Western Cape as a young child. He currently lives and works between Cape Town and Johannesburg. He graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from the Ruth Prowse School of Art and was awarded the 2018 David Koloane award.
